The Problem
- The majority of the toilets at the school have old full-flush cisterns.
- Washbasin taps are high flow.
- Taps are difficult for children to turn off completely.
As a result our water usage is inefficient and wasteful.
The Solution
- Replace all existing cisterns with dual flush units.
- Convert urinals to waterless with sensor flush units set at strategic times.
- Install low-flow and timed-flow basin tapware
- Identify and seal leaks.
The work will coincide with a major school buildings upgrade and should be completed by mid 2008.
